What We DoThe Artists Mission Puts the Fun in Fundraising

The Artist’s Mission offers a wide variety of Classes, Parties, and Open Studio opportunities. We hold Open Studio on Thursday evenings starting at 7:00 pm.

Our art parties are popular with all types of groups – birthday parties, both children and adult, church groups, fund raising efforts, boys and girls scouts, and so on. We are located on 11 acres with a walking trail, stream, and fire pit.

Please Contact us for details and to schedule classes, parties or studio time.

The Artists’s Mission currently works in

  • Hand-built ceramics, producing functional items as well as sculptures and art deco

  • Wheel thrown pottery as well as casting and mold-formed pieces. Raku glazing and outdoor Raku firing is also available.

  • Kiln formed glass using primarily recycled glass materials

  • Acrylic painting

  • Metal smithing and ceramic beads

We own and operate three Pottery kilns (two electric and one gas-fired Raku) as well as an electric glass kiln. We plan to add advanced metal smithing and sand blasting to our repertoire in 2015.
